Today we were going about our business making lunch in the kitchen. Addie and Kailee were sitting at the bar eating and suddenly Addie says, "Can you guys be quiet? I have something stuck in my head that I'm trying to hear!" Hmmm... the voices?? What??
Also, to add to the list...
Real word: Marshmellows.
Addie word: SMARSHmellows.
Real word: Taco Bell
Addie word: Tac-er Bell (pronounced talker bell)
As a side note, my sweet Grammie was notorious for messing words up. Forever Mervyn's was Merwyns. Think Addie got it from her.

Turkey Time!
For Thanksgiving, the fam ventured to Arizona to visit my parents. It was a great trip! We fit all kinds of things in. The kids and I actually stayed 15 days. By the time we cook for Turkey day and then clean it all up it's time to go home already. This time, we did fit more in, but still had unfinished projects, as always. I have a million pics in the post, so hang in there.
And they are in no particular order....
These pics are at the "tiny train", thhis amazing park in Scottsdale has a train that wraps around it. It is kid size and the ride lasts about 10 minutes. It is super cheap ($1/kid I think). They also have a carosel and a cute little ice cream parlor. They have a couple playgrounds too. The girls love it!
In our 15 days, we got lots of hang out time... Addie hung out with Zoie (the puppy) in her bed.
Pa got Joshie-bear time
The girls gave each other foot rubs. Not sure how I missed out on that opportunity...
We went and saw a theater production of "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie". The actors did a fantastic job and the girls had a blast. They brought their Mouse books and got autographs:)

Kailee
Kailee told me I look like a "Real Mom" this evening. I asked her what I usually looked like... she said, "Like a runner girl." I asked if it was the jeans I had on instead of sweats and she said no... you just have a really cute top on. Um... it was a "fancy" sweatshirt, apparently like one a "REal Mom" wears...
THEN, I started laughing, of course, and she says, "MOM, now are you going to put this on Facebook???" Yup. AND I'm gonna blog it darlin'!

Funnies
Just a few Hamilton girl funnies...
While eating at the table with my dad (who is a notoriously messy eater... sorry Dad), Addie looks at him and says, "Pa, you are making a HUmongous mess!!"
Reddi Whip in a can... Addie says, "Can I have some WHOOP cream??" (pronounced like I'm gonna open a can of whoop#$$ on you:))
After a day of Christmas gift wrapping/buying/making, Addie had gone potty and asked Mike to wipe her booty... Mike said, "Wow Addie". Addie's response without hesitation with her goofy pretend southern twang, "That's your Christmas present."
Kailee and Mike were talking and Kailee said, "So how'd it go Dad? God, then Dinosaurs, then Jesus, then Indians, Pilgrims, Grandparents, Parents Kids, and last Babies?" Addie chimes in, "and then ICE CREAM!" Guess we better work on history a bit...
Other words Addie says that are just a little off. (most she's grown out of, I'm writing them so when I turn my blog into my annual book, I have record:))
