September 2011

September started off with Mikey's new job!  We are so blessed that the new position is LOCAL and he is home EVERY NIGHT!!  Thank goodness.  The whole living apart thing was getting old.  Doesn't he look cute?? Shirt and tie everyday:)

We also had our first soccer games.  How cute is this tiny little girl??? Oh my word.  She looks like a peanut.  I cannot believe how much she has grown in the last year.

 The girls' #1 FAN!!!

September randomness found us choreotgraphing dances with daddy and the girls.  Oh... yes, and the dogs.
Boy wonder decided he didn't like sleeping with his shirt on.  Funny thing is, now, as I write this a year later, he is in the same phase again.
This one was the My Little Pony phase.  The joy of being the younger brother with 2 older sisters!

He loved the empty boxes from moving.  What kid doesn't?  Better then any Christmas present!
Uncle Rich stopped by to visit!
We called this one the "Smug Mug" face.
Here is our cute little niece, Eva James.  The boys had a "man trip" to Fresno to go dove hunting (which didn't go so well because of the cling-on, Joshua).  Josh got to spend some time with his littlest cousin.  She had the funniest hair when she was tiny!
Her tiny cousin thought she was the best little doll he had ever seen.

 Brothers and babies!

While the boys were on their "man trip", the girls and I took our first girl trip! I have always wanted to go to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Reno with my college roomie Jill.  Since the big move, we are only 2 hours away, so it was perfect!
This was Kailee's creation at Jill's parents house.  Pretty amazing for freestyly building???!!!
As we drove from place to place in Reno, the girls really wanted to get to the top of one of those buildings.  So, off we went to ride the elevator up tot he top!  24 stories up to be exact!
The balloon fest was a hit!

Before the balloons took off, they did a fly over with old war planes.  Right after the planes went past a flock of geese came over in the EXACT same formation and did the exact same flight pattern.  It was incredible.  Unfortunately, I wasn't fast enough for a picture of the geese.  You'll just have to take my word for it:)
It was so amazing to see all the balloons spread out ready to be filled up to take flight!

 The designs were so cool!

I was being creative with my camera... entered it into the contest and DIDN'T WIN!?? Clearly, there was a mistake!
