Joshua Update

Prayer Warriors ROCK!!

We got another piece of good news this last Tuesday. I had another ultrasound to see if anything had changed with Joshua's heart. To the doctor's surprise, there was much less fluid (he was expecting more) The "acceptable" amount fluid is 2mm. Joshua only has 3mm, so he isn't too far from the norm. The heart wall had been thought to be too thick, and was just right. Last time the dr. could not determine if the structure of the heart was normal or abnormal, but Tuesday it looked just right! He had 5 fingers on each hand (last time he thought one hand had 6) and five toes on each foot. The dr. thinks there may be a small hole in his heart, but said that is nothing to worry about. Overall the doctor said he (Joshua) looked better then he (the dr.) expected. He is still having us go to LA Children's Hospital to see a fetal cardiologist this coming Friday. That doctor will be able to do some intense crazy 4-d ultrasound of the heart along with echocardiograms to see exactly what is going on, if anything.

Keep the prayers coming! We sooooo appreciate your love and support. Knowing we are in God's hands, not the doctors' is the biggest comfort. We know He won't give us anything we can't handle and will prepare us for anything that is coming our way. We continue to lift Joshua up to Him and know all of it is out of our hands.
